Metavarsity Wallets For Everyone

We will automatically create a custodial wallet for each user upon registration that will be tied to your email. These wallets will hold wETH and USD funds that can be used on the platform, or transferred out to 3rd party wallets, like Metamask.

This does not require additional set up. You can sign up & easily pay with just your credit card & PayPal.

3rd Party Wallets (ie. Metamask) For the Pros

Pay entry fees & withdraw earnings to your own wallet. To set it up, click on the Wallet icon on the top right & then click “Connect Wallet”

wETH (& eventually USDC) balances can be transferred to & from your Metamask Wallet to your Metavarsity Wallet.

Note: This requires that you’ve set up a 3rd party wallet such as Metamask.

We are integrated into the Polygon protocol to minimize transaction fees for our users.

Gas Fees: Please ensure you have MATIC to pay for transaction fees. This can be purchased through DEXs like Coinbase, services like Transak, or even within the Metamask wallet. We eventually plan on implementing gas-less transactions to improve user experience.

WTF is wETH?

wETH is just ETH that lives on the Polygon network. It is 1-to-1 in value with ETH, and can be exchanged for ETH on the Ethereum network, if you choose.

Why Polygon?

We want our users to capture as much value as possible. To do so, we wanted to allow you to earn ETH while paying the lowest possible transaction fee, which Polygon provides.
